Electrical Panel Assembly Technician (Full-Time)
POSITION: Electrical Panel Assembly Technician (Full-Time)
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
LOCATION: Lowell, MI
PMSI is looking for a candidate that embodies our core values with the following job functions in mind:
● Read and follow wire drawings to assemble and wire sub plates and electrical panels.
● Familiarity with UL508 and ability to understand and follow basic electrical codes.
● Work closely with teams including the subpanel assembler, testing and engineering.
● Assist with the cleaning and organizing of the shop and the warehouse.
● Familiarity with inventory procedures for stocking and pulling parts
● Assist in training internal personnel on best practices for the use of our product lines
● Misc. duties assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
● Interest in long term employment and on the job training, with good interpersonal skills and mindset required.
● 3-5 years experience in the following:
○ Wiring electrical panels according to a drawing.
○ Reading and using schematics, drawings, documentation, and datasheets.
○ Light metal working, such as drilling and tapping holes and running a grinder or a band saw.
● Self-driven, able to work with minimal supervision.
● Familiarity with software applications such as Google Suite
● Excellent oral and written communication skills
● Technical aptitude and experience preferred, including electrical and mechanical systems.
● Strong problem solving, mechanical and organizational skills.
● Ability to both stand and sit while working for long periods of time, climb stairs and ladders, have the ability to move around
and through agricultural equipment and construction sites, use lifts, power, and hand tools, and any other activities generally
associated with construction and/or office work.

Computer Systems/Software Engineer Team Leader
POSITION: Computer Systems/Software Engineer Team Leader
REPORTS TO: Director of New Product Development
LOCATION: Lowell, MI
PMSI is looking for a candidate that embodies these core values with the following job functions in mind:
- Architect, write, test and document new software solutions or enhancements to existing software in a maintenance capacity.
- Act as the Team Lead for a local and remote development team, acting as communication conduit for a globally developed SW solution.
- Assist in the development of technical documentation, software testing and Quality Assurance
- Execute special New Product Development projects based on a project plan, implementing them in either a lab or field environment, collecting data and documenting the process.
Requirements:
- Full stack web development, utilizing tools such as javascript, C#, React, Gitlab, Jira, MS Azure ecosystem, Postgre, Azure event hub (Kafka), Kubernetes for containerizing.
- Proficient in the use of Wiki for documentation.
- Familiarity with Scrum, Agile development frameworks, SAFe, etc.
- Ability to interact with customers professionally and confidently, documenting their issues and concerns in a constructive and meaningful way.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Controls Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Willing and able to work in an agricultural environment.
Skills/Experience desired, but not necessary.
- Deep learning concepts (Including edge based computing and machine vision)
- Experience with Object Oriented Programming: eg. C++, Java, HTML, Basic, Delphi (Object Oriented Pascal)
- Database Architecture
- Understanding of Continuous Develop Environments and associated concepts
Team skills
- Daily supervision of agile development team
- Work with remote teams (language and time zone flexibility required)
- 20% travel to Guadalajara, Mexico / Vechta, Germany

Field Service Technician (Full Time)
POSITION: Field Service Technician (Full Time)
REPORTS TO: Field Service Manager
LOCATION: Remote or Local
PMSI is looking for a candidate that embodies these core values with the following job functions in mind:
● Commission, wire, terminate, configure, customize, and troubleshoot PMSI control systems and components at customer
locations
● Provide supervision, inspection, testing, evaluation, and education of other contractors and their work relating to our systems
● Write logic, PLC I/O layouts, and human interfaces for PMSI systems. PMSI control systems operate as a PLC including an
HMI to allow local control.
● Read, understand, and be able to explain to others electrical and mechanical drawing packages, data sheets, and instructions
from PMSI and other sources to integrate the various components of a control system.
● Provide training, advice, guidance, direction, and consulting to customers and contractors as far as recommended practices,
PMSI equipment operation, egg production, egg processing, and other related systems.
● Troubleshoot and support Microsoft Windows, PC’s, networking, PMSI equipment and systems as well as related third party
systems over the phone, via email, and through remote access
● Troubleshoot third party mechanical, electrical, and controls systems to ensure proper operation of PMSI equipment
● Participate in PMSI’s 24-Hour rotating On-call hotline
● Execute special projects based on direction from the operations manager.
Requirements:
● Interest in long term employment and on the job training, with good interpersonal skills and mindset required.
● 3-5 years’ experience in one or more of the following
○ Industrial, agricultural, process, and/or HVAC controls
○ Computer networking, PC support, information technology, and/or complex software
○ Agricultural equipment, operation and/or technical maintenance
○ Controls level electrical systems, PLC’s and automation systems or other complex electronic systems
○ Field service involving controls, electronics, and/or PLC’s
● Ability to read and use schematics, drawings, documentation, and datasheets.
● Experience in project management, and customer service
● Proficient and diplomatic with oral and written communication with customers.
● Technical aptitude and experience preferred, including electrical and mechanical systems.
● >75% Travel – Willing to work irregular hours and weekends as required. Potential for trips lasting up to 3 weeks at a time.
● Willingness to work in an agricultural environment which can be dirty, and dusty. Employees may encounter condensing
humidity, heat, cold, airborne ammonia, airborne allergens, cleaning and disinfectant compounds, pests, insects, and manure
during the course of work.
● Ability to both stand and sit while working for long periods of time, climb stairs and ladders, have the ability to move around
and through agricultural equipment and construction sites, use lifts, power, and hand tools, and any other activities generally
associated with construction and/or office work.
